The inaugural Hold My Beer Mile is set to be a fast and competitive 1 mile race in Jamaica Plain. The race will combine urban and park elements as you race through parts of Franklin Park before hitting the lightning fast downhill finish. This is racing the way it was meant to be- line up and run faster than the person next to you. You’re not paying for chip timing and another running shirt so bring your watch if you want a time. HMB Running is about who you outrun.
Men and women will race separately competing for some sweet prize money and bragging rights.
Post race beer will be served up by our lead sponsor Turtle Swamp Brewery with early access to the outdoor patio. All registered runners 21 and old will receive a free post race beer…Yeah bring your ID.
